Product Guide
Both run on genuine REHAU® profiles. One is steel-reinforced uPVC; the other is RAU-FIPRO® hybrid built to Passive House standards. Here is how to choose.

Our two flagship window systems share the same European DNA — genuine REHAU® profiles, tilt-and-turn operation, multi-point locking and a 100-year frame guarantee. Where they differ is the material science of the frame, and that difference decides how far you can push size, energy performance and budget.
Global 70™ — the standard, steel-reinforced uPVC
The Global 70™ is built on a REHAU uPVC profile made from a proprietary blend of stabilizers, titanium dioxide and hardeners that resist weathering and solar radiation — so the frames never need painting. A High-Definition Finish (HDF) gives a higher-than-average surface gloss that repels dirt and wipes clean with ordinary detergent and water.
- Steel-reinforced frames and sashes resist warping and sagging, unlike a typical double-hung.
- 50% more energy efficient than ENERGY STAR® certification requires.
- ~80% more soundproof than most architectural-grade windows.
- 10-point locking with optional Super Triplex laminated or tempered glass — roughly 3× more secure than an average window.
For most homes, the Global 70™ is the sweet spot: genuine European performance and operation at the most accessible price. See the full Global 70™ spec on Seemray →
Global 80™ — the premium RAU-FIPRO® hybrid
The Global 80™ steps up to REHAU’s ARTEVO™ system, built from RAU-FIPRO® — a glass-fiber-reinforced hybrid PVC originally inspired by aeronautics and Formula 1. Because the fiber does the structural work, the frame no longer depends on steel, which unlocks larger openings and lets the natural insulating properties of PVC come through.
- Passive House certified design — meets the strictest residential energy targets.
- U-values down to 0.14, versus roughly 0.37 for an economy window.
- 2× more energy efficient than ENERGY STAR® requires — up to ~35% better thermal performance than other residential vinyl.
- 80 mm frame depth with a 7-chamber profile, accommodating triple — even quad — glazing.
- The new RAU-FLECT™ Low-E insert reflects heat back inside, and the whole system is fully recyclable.
How to choose
Choose Global 70™ if you want authentic European tilt-and-turn windows with excellent efficiency and value for a typical home or remodel. Choose Global 80™ if you are building or renovating to high-performance or Passive House targets, want the largest possible glass areas, or live in a demanding climate where every fraction of a U-value counts.
